About Manna CHENG

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Cheng started ballet training since 2006 and attained intermediate RAD exam in 2010. Cheng graduated from Department of Dance at the National Taiwan University of Arts (2014-2019), she is currently a freelance performer.

 

Cheng is interested in the mobility of the body, moving is a way she learns. She is eager to engage in performances that explores boundaries of various art form and disciplines, and deepen connection with self and the society.

鄭氏於香港長大，2006年開始學習芭蕾舞，2010年考獲英國皇家芭蕾舞專業試中級。2019年畢業於臺灣藝術大學舞蹈系，現在為自由身舞者及創作者。

鄭氏關注⾝體的可動性，以身體作為媒介梳理概念，持續探索理解身體的不同面向。他以多變的形式去突破表演的框架，深化自身與社會的連結。
